Dear Members,
Since the past 27 years, the ICAI Abu Dhabi chapter has grown in stature moving along from strength to strength. Starting out as an organisation of around 20 members, has now moved on to an association of around 500+ Chartered Accountants, a one of its kind professional body in the city of Abu Dhabi. From the casual professional banter to the global professional seminars, the gala musical events to the evening talks that the chapter carries out as part of its ‘building’ agenda – this on account and credited to all our Past Chairmen and their vibrant committee members under whose flagship the chapter has come a long way.
I feel privileged to be taking up my new role as the Chairman of Abu Dhabi Chapter of ICAI – which I humbly accept, and would like, to thank my fellow members for the honour bestowed and for all the support and good faith they have sent across.
Our present committee is a cocktail blend of youth and experience, and with enthusiasm at the optimum, and still scaling beyond, we look forth to focus and carry forward our agenda of serving as a medium for facilitating the sharing of the vast professional knowledge and expertise among the members, a catalyst to improving profile visibility; added exposure of our members in the community, providing continual professional education, facilitating employment opportunities, and within perspective; a platform to strive and reach out to global recognition through mutual effort and understanding along the pathway of professional excellence.
Member participation has been a continued challenge to overcome, with respect to which we request our members to actively take part in the undertakings of the chapter and showcase their support by means of participation in all the events organised. We also solicit your assistance in bringing into fold those members of ICAI who still are not members of the Abu Dhabi chapter.
We hope to rub on the enthusiasm and the excitement of the committee onto the members and do look forward to an exciting year ahead for all of us, and on that note, with warm wishes;
